The Oak & Mistletoe Fund
In honor of the Winter Solstice, the Mother Grove Goddess Temple is proud to introduce a new initiative: the Oak and Mistletoe Fund. This special fund aims to gather support for planting native oak trees in areas devastated by the impact of Helene. In collaboration with Asheville GreenWorks, our goal is to honor the mature trees lost to wind and rain by replanting native oak seedlings.
Donations to Mother Grove from now, the Winter Solstice, until February 1 will be dedicated entirely to this cause. The widespread loss of mature trees, including many majestic oaks, has deeply affected our community. Through this project, we affirm our temple’s love and commitment to the Earth and our community.
We particularly invite our Druid friends to join us in this commitment to the magnificent and sacred oak. If you or your grove or circle feel a kinship with this project, please designate your donation to “The Oak and Mistletoe Fund.”
