River Blessing

We will be gathering at the French Broad River Park (meet at the Gazebo) to listen to the old rivers. This spot has been the site of many past Mother Grove rituals and marks the confluence of the Swannanoa and the French Broad rivers. Our intentions include singing, blessing, and sending healing love to the rivers and the banks they flow through.

This won’t be the right ceremony for everyone. There is so much grief, loss, fury. But if this feels right to you, you are welcome to join us. Dress warmly! Wear stout shoes!
