Full Moon

The November full moon is traditionally known as the Beaver Moon. This name comes from the fact that beavers are busy preparing for winter during this time of year.

Beavers in nature build dams and lodges to protect themselves from the cold, and they gather food to store for the winter months. The Beaver Moon is associated with preparation, gathering resources, and community.

These traditional names offer a glimpse into the observations and experiences of past societies, connecting lunar cycles to the natural world and its rhythms.
