Full Moon

January’s full moon has two prominent pagan names:

• Wolf Moon – a name which reflects the howling of hungry wolves heard during the harsh winter nights.
• Cold Moon – this name emphasizes the frigid temperatures typical of January in many regions.

The Cold Moon is associated with finding warmth, light and connection – even through the coldest and darkest nights.
